Manage Organizations

Common Organization data can be stored within a Contensive website. Additional fields can be configured resulting from Add-On functionality included within a site. Each Site User (People, Members, etc.) can be assigned to one Organization.

Although with the default installation of Contesive, no security based access is assigned through Organization, some Add-Ons may incorporate certain permissions based on Organization.

Like most Content Definitions within Contensive, Organizations can be organized by Child Content Definitions. For example, Organizations can be split into two Child Content Definitions, Non-Member Organizations and Member Organizations. Although all records with the Child Content Definitions still reside within Organizations, they are divided into their own logical groups. This may be useful when building a member organization list or creating a report of all users associated to non-member organizations.
