Terms

Trucking Company
These are the trucking companies that transport the commodities.
Oil Companies
These are the oil companies where the commodities originate.
SWD Company
These are the dump sites that use the SWD app.
Commodities
These are items transported for disposal. Examples include salt water, flow back, production water, pit, gel and brine.
Wells
List of wells that shows the oil company, lease, field, well county code, well API number, and well lease number.
Pipelines
Direct line for disposal from the oil field to the disposal site.
Customers

How To

Add a New Trucking Organization as an SWD Manager

  • Login to the SWD Application.
  • Click on Settings, Trucking Companies.
  • Click + Trucking Company.
  • Enter Company Name; if it shows up in "auto suggest", select that company otherwise type name and click CREATE.
  • Enter address information if it is a new organization.
  • Click SUBMIT to save the new organization.

Add a New Oil Company as an SWD Manager

  • Login to the SWD Application.
  • Click on Settings, Trucking Companies.
  • Click + Trucking Company.
  • Enter Company Name; if it shows up in "auto suggest", select that company otherwise type name and click CREATE.
  • Enter address information if it is a new organization.
  • Click SUBMIT to save the new organization.

Add a New User for an Organization as an SWD User

  • Login to the Administrative site.
  • Click on Manage Users, People.
  • Click ADD at the top of the screen.
  • Enter the user details in the Details tab; make sure to select the Organization from the drop down.
  • In the Permissions tab, add a Username and Password. Also select User or Administrator from the drop down in Application Role - SWD.
  • Click OK to save the new user.

Add and Edit Information in Settings

Oil Companies

  • Login to the SWD application.
  • The list of oil companies is populated as tickets are generated for a specific oil company's well.
  • To edit information about an oil company, click on Settings, Oil Companies, and the edit icon next to the oil company.
  • Click on the PRIMARY contact box.
  • Enter contact name, address, city, state, zip, email and phone number and click SAVE.
  • You can also change the commodity pricing for that specific oil company and then click SUBMIT.

Wells

  • Login to the SWD application.
  • The list of wells is populated as tickets are generated for a specific well.
  • To add a new well, click Settings, Wells, + New Well.
  • Enter the API Region, API Number and Lease Number and click SAVE.
  • The new well will appear in the list of wells.

Transport Companies

  • Login to the SWD application.
  • To add a new transport company, click on Settings, Transport Companies, + New Transport Co.
  • Enter the company name and click CREATE.
  • Enter the Address, City, State, Zip, Email and Phone and click SUBMIT.

  • The lease details will appear on the Add Pipeline screen.
  • Select the Commodity Type.
  • Enter the Initial Reading for this pipeline and click SUBMIT.
  • The new pipeline will appear in the list of pipelines with information on the customer, lease/well, commodity, last reading, last reading date and pipeline name.

Access Information from the SWD Dashboard

  • Login to the SWD application.
  • Click on Truck Count to access information about today's trucks, including driver, commodity type, barrels dropped, start time and customer.
  • Click on Barrels Dropped to access information about today's barrels dropped, including driver, commodity type, barrels dropped, start time and customer.
  • Click on Pipeline Barrels to see daily totals for pipeline disposals, including pipeline name,amount, customer and well.

Create a Ticket

  • Login to the SWD application.
  • Click on Create a Ticket.
  • Select the name of the disposal company.
  • Click on the Lease Details to lookup the information for the specific lease. You will input the API Region, API Number, and the lease number. When you click SAVE, the county, operator, field and well number will auto populate on the ticket.
  • Next select a commodity from the drop down, which is populated based on which well is selected.
  • Enter total barrels disposed.
  • Select the trucking company.
  • Enter the driver's name and truck number.
  • Sign the form.
  • Upload a photo.
  • Click SUBMIT TICKET.
  • After you submit the ticket, you will see the Truck Count and Barrels Dropped increase on the dashboard.

  • Select the pipeline name.
