Create a New Standard Directory Placement

Click Add In the fields available create the name of the placement, check the active box to make it available for selection in the “organization subcategory” records. Then you need to specify a placement order in the “Priority” field. This field is used to sort placements within a subcategory by numerically descending.
How to update as standard placment to a priority placement
- The account contact calls the Directory Administrator (DA) who handles the change
- After manual sales transaction, the DA goes to the admin site to enter the placement
- To enter the placement, open Organization Subcategories and search for the organization. Edit if it is found, otherwise add a new record.
- Set to a priority listing, the Placement desired.
Reference
Initialize Directory Records
Each organization in the system has a tab for the supplier directory. If an organization's initialized checkbox in the tab is clear, running this addon will initialize all the data in the Directory tab from other fields in the record.
Supplier Directory Settings
Use this tool to configure custom settings for the Supplier Directory.
Supplier Directory Vanity URL Processor
This tool creates a custom vanity URL on the website for every organization in the system. The URL is constructed as [Supplier Directory Vanity URL Prefix] + [Organization Name], then special characters such as & and ? are replaced with dashes. The [Supplier Directory Vanity URL Prefix] is a value you can set in the Supplier Directory Settings. Be careful to ensure the final name is not used on the website for other pages or services.
for example, if you set the [Supplier Directory Vanity URL Prefix] = "Directory/" and you have a organization named "ACME Shoes", a URL will be created http://www.yoursite.com/Directory/ACME-Shoes
