Purpose

The Content Watch add-on enables you to create a list of new content on your website.

How to Add a Content Watch List to a Web Page

When you are logged on as an Administrator, you will go to the page where you want to put the content watch list and click EDIT. Click on the paper/pencil icon and put your cursor in the copy box. Go to the ADD-ONS in the menu above the copy box. Select CONTENT WATCH LIST from the drop down. Click OK to save changes.

How to Select which Content Watch List Displays

When you are logged on as an Administrator, you will go to the page where you added the content watch list and click ADVANCED EDIT. Click on the wrench icon and choose the LIST NAME in the drop down. Click UPDATE to save changes.

To add new Content Watch Lists, click on ADMIN, CONTENT WATCH LIST, and then CONTENT WATCH LISTS. All available lists are displayed. Click ADD to add a new type of watch list, name the list and then click OK to save it.

How to Select which Content Displays for a Specific Watch List

When you are logged on as an Administrator, you will go to the page that you want to display on the content watch list and click EDIT. Click on the paper/pencil icon and go to the CONTENT WATCH tab. Check the list you want the page caption for this page to display. Next enter in the text to appear in the watch list to describe this page's content and an expiration date for this page from the watch list. Click OK to save changes.

For any pages you check the box "Include in What's New", the caption for that page will appear in a list on any webpage with the Content Watch List set to the What's New list.
